Among the colourful, costume-clad students were characters including Captain Underpants, princesses, mermaids and even sumo wrestlers.
Children's Book Week highlights the importance of reading and encourages youngsters to read, discover new books, visit libraries and appreciate the joys of literature.
This year's theme is "Books Light up our World".
