IT'S the issue that's charged up Monaro voters the most according to the two major party candidates in Monaro this election- the Baird Government's proposed privatisation of state-owned electricity assets.

IT WAS a Christmas lights display and some drinks that initially brought together the residents of Webber Place, Queanbeyan.
Such a success was their gathering that they've decided to organise a street party this weekend to mark National Neighbour Day.
The Queanbeyan YMCA has seen a great deal of success within rythmic gymnastics since it was established 15 years ago, including great results recently from a number of local gymnasts at the second NSW State Trial in Sydney.
