Harman's only loss of the season, to ANU at ANU by just four points was the only tarnish to their almost flawless start and this week they look for redemption as they take on ANU on home turf at Hughes Oval, player/coach Joel Percy said.
"We could've won [against ANU] and the guys have improved a lot since then so we're hoping to rectify that this weekend," he said.
"Everyone's really excited at the moment, everyone's pretty psyched- there's heaps of chatter and laughter at training."
Percy said the Hogs have focused on playing a more "shorter gameplan" that players have "taken on well".
"We still have to focus a bit more on our pressure around the ground and locking the ball in our forward line, but our backline I can't fault- they're been good for us all year," he said.
"Jeff Toone has been really good in half back and running off and Justin Smith who we've picked up has been good in defence.
"It's also been good for some of the new blokes to be around the experienced guys."
Harman dropped down a grade this season, which has helped their chances of a flag, but Percy said the feel around the club is much better than last.
"We've managed to maintain high numbers at training and maintained our player list," he said.
"We're a lot more confident this year [than last]."
The Hogs are first on the AFL Canberra ladder based on percentage to second-placed ANU and Percy said Saturday's clash will hopefully allow them to cement top spot.
