A star of the History Channel reality show Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads has allegedly kidnapped, beaten and threatened to kill a prostitute.

But Tim Zickuhr's reported plan to extort $1000 from the prostitute – who works under the name of "Snow White" – fell apart when he unwittingly demanded his ransom from a police officer.
American media revealed this morning that Zickuhr was charged with kidnapping, extortion and coercion on December 19. He also allegedly forced Snow White (real name: Lisa Cadeau) to jump out of a second story window, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Gossip website TMZ reports that Zickuhr gave Cadeau his ATM card to withdraw money to pay for the sex acts she performed on him, then accused her of taking too much.
Cadeau claims Zickuhr arranged a "meeting" at his apartment the next day to resolve the dispute. Instead he attacked her, punched her in the face, threatened to kill her, tied her up with backpack straps, continued to beat her, doused her with cold water from a mop bucket, locked her in his closet and demanded the phone number of someone who could get him the money.
Cleverly, Cadeau gave Zickuhr the number of a police officer for whom she had acted as a source. Her alleged tormentor reportedly called the officer, with Cadeau screaming in the background, and threatened to take her to Mexico and kill her unless he was given $1000.
Zickuhr arranged to meet the man behind a Las Vegas casino but, according to TMZ, "rather than leave his apartment through the front door, Tim allegedly forced Snow White out his second story window".
Unsurprisingly, the officer arranged for back-up and Zickuhr was arrested at the casino. TMZ says the officer claims Zickuhr "sang like a canary" and admitted "everything".
Meanwhile, police had also been called to Zickuhr's apartment by neighbours who had heard Cadeau's screams, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Zickuhr is said to have told police "that his plan was to place Cadeau on [classified advertisements website] Craigslist and try to make money off her performing sex acts".
Zickuhr, who starred in Ice Road Truckers: Deadliest Roads in 2011, will appear in court in May.
The series airs on the A&E channel on Foxtel in Australia.
Deadliest Roads is a spin-off of the successful Ice Road Truckers reality show, which began in 2007. It follows drivers who must take their trucks over dangerous roads and even frozen lakes. The second season of Deadliest Roads, in which Zickuhr appeared, featured six North American drivers sent to Bolivia to haul cargo along the notoriously dangerous Yungas Road.
A spokesperson for the History Channel declined to comment.
