"Thank you to everyone who has been tested. It is important that we maintain high testing numbers and that cases are detected as early as possible. If you have any symptoms, don't delay, get a COVID-19 test," a SNSWLHD spokesperson said.
A positive case was detected at Googong in the Queanbeyan Palerang Shire on August 30 and a pop up drive through testing clinic was set up on Heazlett Street, Googong (enter via Rosa Street) for August 31 and September 1 from 7am to 4pm.
The District urges everyone in the area to be alert for any cold-like symptoms that could signal COVID-19, including headache, nausea, sore throat, runny nose, cough, loss of smell or taste, or fever.
If symptoms appear, people must isolate and get tested immediately, and remain isolated until a negative result is received.
Testing is available at Queanbeyan:

- Queanbeyan Showground drive through (operated by Laverty) Glebe Avenue 8am to 4pm, Monday - Friday 8am - 1pm Saturday
