Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Queanbeyan at the weekend.

About 9pm on Sunday, May 30, emergency services were called to a service station on Lowe Road, Queanbeyan, following reports a man has been struck by a vehicle.
NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the 53-year-old man at the scene, before he was taken to Canberra Hospital, where he remains in ICU with serious head and torso injuries.

The 21-year-old driver was not physically injured and is assisting police with inquiries.
As investigations continue into the moments leading up to the incident, police are appealing for witnesses - including drivers with dashcam vision, or businesses with CCTV - to come forward and call Queanbeyan Police on 6298 0599.
