The Queanbeyan Netball Association (QNA) have their first ever Capital Spirit player in Olivia Clark.
She was recently named in the inaugural Capital Spirit u23 squad for the 2020 Netball NSW Premier League u23 season.
The goal shooter was extremely proud of her achievement.
"It's really good," Clark said.
"I can't wait to actually get out there and start playing in April."
She started her netball as a Waratah junior and has played representative netball for Queanbeyan from the 12s through to Opens.
Clark feels her biggest strength on the netball court is her composure.
"I'm accomplished in high pressure situations," she said.
"I tend to remain calm and not overthink a lot."
One of the biggest thing she is looking forward to most is playing alongside girls who have normally been her opponents.
"I'm happy to play with a new bunch of girls as a lot of us have grown up playing against each other," she said.
"I can't wait to gell as a team and bring something new to the NSW competition."
The former basketball player takes the sport very seriously and has big goals for the future.
"Hopefully I will play in the Australian Netball League next year and then possibly in the Suncorp Super Netball league sometime in the future."
QNA president Kelly Lolesio has watched Clark develop from a young age and praised her highly.
"She's the quiet achiever in the background," Lolesio said.
"She plays with grace and style."
Clark has also represented at a national level, so she has the experience to do well this season.
