Hello, we are Peach and Cherry!
We were surrendered to the RSPCA through no fault of our own and we are now looking for a parrot-experienced home to call our own.
Lorikeets aren't the easiest birds to keep, so we'd like for our new owners to be well informed in our needs and requirements.
We are LOUD little critters who enjoy whispering, talking, and screaming our conversations to each other and to you.
We would love to have a large aviary to ourselves, or even share our new space with other lorikeets (with slow and careful introductions please).
Lorikeets do require a special diet, a diet that we are currently and will continually need to be on.
We enjoy swinging on our toys, shredding the foliage we have in our current set up, and of course love to spend time with each other.
Our new owners will need to be committed to our care, as we can live for up to 30 years.
If you are interested in adopting two beautiful birds, please either contact our staff or come in to speak to them, and maybe meet us too!
Call into the shelter at 12 Kirkpatrick Street Weston, Monday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm or for more information call 6287 8100.
