Police are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Queanbeyan on Sunday.

A spokesman for Monaro Police District said a woman armed with a knife entered a store in Karabar just before 11am and demanded money, before fleeing with cash.
Officers attended the scene and commenced an investigation.
The woman is described as Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander in appearance, aged between 30 to 40 years, approximately 150-160cm tall and being of large build.
Police said she may have been involved in a similar incident at the same store on Saturday, December 15.
