Mr Suttie, 37, died in August, three days after he was stabbed in the neck while walking through Prince Park at Woodridge.
Accused killer Harley David Wegener, 29, did not appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday when his charges of murder and two counts of going armed so as to cause fear were mentioned, and he was remanded in custody until the next court date of February 6.
