A 22-year-old man has been tasered and arrested in Queanbeyan after being caught with drugs, firearms and ammunition in his pants.

Police stopped the vehicle the man was driving on Uriarra Road for a random breath test.
Officers then searched the man and allegedly found two bags of drugs, two firearms believed to be pen guns, ammunition and cash hidden in his pants.
The man allegedly tried to resist the officers and during the struggle a police officer was bitten on the arm.
The officers discharged a taser and arrested the man. There were no passengers in the vehicle.
The man was charged with assaulting a police officer, assault causing actual bodily harm, possession of a prohibited firearm, possession of ammunition without a licence, drug supply and possession and suspected dealing in the proceeds of crime.
The man was refused bail to appear before Queanbeyan Local Court on Sunday.
