It is a welcoming place full of clay enthusiasts.
Their workshops are nestled in a piece of urban bushland at Watson Arts Centre.
They offer courses for adults and children from the novice to the professional artist.
If you’ve always wanted to learn pottery, why not get a taste for it at one of the upcoming winter school holiday intensive classes for beginners.
These structured courses taught by experienced teachers give participants a feel for clay and its properties.
You’ll start by hand-building and move to using the potter’s wheel.
You will learn how to control clay and create vessels as well as decorate and glaze your work.
You will also do a Raku firing. Watch your pots be transformed by fire.
For a great family holiday experience book in with the kids to their Clay Day or the Family Fun Workshop.
You can call them on (02) 6241 7800 for class enquiries and enrolments.
