The girlfriend of the 16-year-old boy accused of stabbing a service station attendant to death pleaded guilty to domestic violence charges in the Queanbeyan Local Court on Wednesday.

The 14-year-old girl allegedly pulled out an 8-inch carving knife in the kitchen of her home the day after her boyfriend is alleged to have gone on a violent rampage with another teen earlier this month.
She pleaded guilty to six domestic violence charges, including destroying property, threatening to cause harm and breaching a domestic violence order and was denied bail.
Police say the teenaged girl held the knife in a stabbing grip and looked intent on attacking her uncle after he refused her ice cream.
At the original hearing following the outburst, the court was told her grandmother feared the girl would harm her family after her boyfriend's violent spree which left one man dead and three others seriously injured.
The same grandmother was in court on Wednesday supporting the 14-year-old.
The police prosecution opposed the teenager's bail application, and Magistrate Michael Antrum agreed.
He said the 14-year-old's history of violent offences made her a risk to the public.
"She has a history that demonstrates escalating behaviour which is of concern to the court," Magistrate Antrum said.
A statement of facts tendered to the court earlier this month said police were worried about the timing of the girl's actions following her boyfriend's alleged rampage.
According to police she was at home on Saturday, April 8 when she became upset upon being told by her grandmother to delete an inappropriate Facebook post.
That afternoon the teen allegedly stormed off to the kitchen screaming when her sister didn't let her speak to her father on the phone, pounding an indentation in a gyprock wall on the way.
She began to open and slam shut doors and the fridge in the kitchen. Her uncle told her not to eat ice cream before the family went out soon, police said.
He and his father each held up a dining chair to create a barrier protecting them against the girl when she pulled out a knife, it is alleged.
Magistrate Antrum ordered a background report on the teenage girl.
She will be sentenced at the Queanbeyan Local Court on May 24.
