Five people, including two children, have been taken to hospital with sever burns after an explosion at a picnic area in Belanglo Forest.

The two children and three adults all sustained burns to their faces and upper bodies at a picnic area on Daly’s Road.
Police from the Hume Local Area Command, Rural Fire Service crews and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene just after 12.30pm on Sunday, March 26.
Bowral Police Inspector John Klepczarek said there appeared to have been an explosion at a campfire near the picnic area.
Police have been told that the family were attempting to light a barbecue when the explosion occurred.
One adult and a child sustained serious burns to the face and chest; they were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and flown to Concord Hospital.
The remaining two adults and a child were treated at the scene and taken by road to Liverpool Hospital.
Two people were airlifted to hospital and three were taken by ambulance.
A crime scene has been established which will be examined by detectives and forensic officers.
