We celebrated NAIDOC Week this week. Every student was invited to decorate a clay pot for a special assembly and they looked fabulous.
Students spent the last few hours of term two on the dance floor. Infants and primary students had a special disco today as a reward for all their hard work this year.
QSPS is one of the local polling booths for the federal election. The P&C will be selling food throughout the day.

St Gregory's Primary School
Last Tuesday night Associate Professor Kaye Lowe facilitated a very valuable workshop at the school on reading and writing with children. It was wonderful to see so many parents and carers there. Some of the strategies to assist children included Echo and Shared Reading. More information can be found on our school webpage.
Queanbeyan East Public School
Congratulations to our Lego robotics team who came third in the inaugural Queanbeyan Robocup competition last Monday. Teams coded their robots to rescue an item from the course. Our District Athletics team will compete at Wright Park on Thursday. Congratulations to all of our students for a productive and hardworking term. Thank you to parents and community for your continued support this term.
Jerrabomberra Public School
Jerrabomberra were very proud winners of the inaugural Robotics Cup Challenge held at Queanbeyan High School. Twelve students from years 4 and 5 and two teachers have been working together to hone their skills.
The boys softball team had a resounding win over Bateman's Bay in the PSSA knockout 20-4. They now play in the regional final.
Our Multicultural Public Speaking final saw four students selected to compete in the district final.
