Students from QWPS have benefitted from attending Stewart House and our school has been recognised as a strong donor.

That's why our 5cent challenge is on! Keep your eyes open and send them our way.

Everyone is welcome at an anti-bullying workshop on Wednesday 21 June, in the School Library and will run from 4:30pm - 5:30pm.

Attend a seminar at Karabar High School on 28 June on Anxiety and Young People, aimed at parents, carers and teachers. 5:30pm for a 6:00pm start, concluding at 7:00pm.

Musicorp program students had a recital in week four.

All students did a great job. Special mentions to Blake Laws on the drums, who demonstrated fantastic performance composure.

Charlotte Elliott on saxophone, played with a beautiful tone and Allen Ferguson on guitar, who demonstrated fantastic courage in his performance!

Queanbeyan South Public School

Queanbeyan South Public School participated in the RoboCup on Monday.

A handful of students represented QSPS by building robots out of Lego.

Thank you to Dr Allen Benter from CSU who led professional learning activities for the teachers and students prior to the competition.

Congratulations to Tehya Summerville who represented our school in the quarter final of the Rostrum Public Speaking Competition held at Farrer Primary School last Thursday.

Against some quality opposition, Tehya managed to come third. Well done Tehya.
