IT'S that time of year again, the Monaro Panthers are running the summer sixes competition and the eight-week football clinic.

The clinic will be run at Queanbeyan Park and will suit any player featuring classes for beginners to intermediates, the miniroos under 6s to under 9s, from 4:30-5:30pm, intermediates to experienced players, under10s to under 18s from 5:45-6:45pm, more advanced players from 7-8:30pm and clinics for goalkeepers from 6-7pm.
Monaro Panthers football director, Adam Firych said the clinics act as a trial for the under 13s and 16s, but are also open to everyone, not just Monaro players.
"We want to keep kids enjoying football, everyone is welcome that wants to improve their skills," he said.
The summer sixes eight-week competition is held at David Madew Oval and is open to junior teams to seniors- under 5s to under 8s from 5-5:35pm, under 9s to under 11s from 5:40-6:25pm, under 12s to under 15s from 6:30-7:15pm, adults open and competitive from 7:20-8:15pm and adult mixed and social from 7:20-8:15pm.
