Billing themselves as the 'Daughters Of Country,' Anne Kirkpatrick and Dianne Lindsay come from two of the greatest Australian country music families, and will be playing some great Australian songs from 2pm.
Anne Kirkpatrick, the daughter of Slim Dusty and Joy McKean, will be accompanied by her son, James Arneman, a fine guitarist and musician. Anne has done just about everything in the Australian country music scene including being elevated to the Roll of Renown, the highest accolade our country music stars can achieve.
And Dianne Lindsay is the daughter of Reg Lindsay and Heather McKean and will be accompanied by her husband, award winning guitarist, Peter Simpson.
Dianne is an extremely popular multi-award winning artist who has won the national Female Vocal Peoples' Choice Award in Tamworth for the past two years.
The show promises to be extremely entertaining, with those classic songs from their respective fathers sung through the night and then, of course, Anne and Dianne join to sing their very famous mothers (McKean Sisters) classics.
This show is a must for those who appreciate true, traditional country music and understand the significance of this family's great tradition and also supports a very worthy cause 'Children With Special Needs'.
