IT is time for the Queanbeyan division one netball side to "get back to basics" according to skipper Leanne McGrath after suffering two losses on the trot after opening their season with two very complete performances.

The women have recently gone down 56-41 to Belconnen, who have only lost once this season, and to South Canberra, who have just that win to their name, 50-36 in a more unstructured performance.
But despite being on the end of a three-game losing streak that stretches back to a tight four point loss to Canberra, McGrath said that game plus the round one win over 2013 champions Arawang mean they could easily turn things around.
"We've just got to get back to our basics and do things right," she said.
She said a lack of execution in ball work and decision making had cost them in the past fortnight, and tonight's game against Tuggeranong will not make things easier, with the south-siders having just the one loss so far.
Working in their favour though will be a three week break over Easter and the ACT school holidays, and McGrath said the women trained hard over that period.
"By the looks of it we need to," she said light-heartedly.
They will be without 16-year old Brittany Reynolds indefinitely after breaking her finger against Belconnen.
The team played a different seven players in each half in that game, and McGrath said there may be a case to use the same seven players for the whole game again after winning the second quarter but falling in the third and fourth.
