QUEANBEYAN Police have arrested a 30-year-old male in relation to a string of break and enter offences committed into city businesses over a fortnight ago.

The Queanbeyan man will appear before the Queanbeyan Local Court on Friday, May 9.
He was charged with breaking into four local businesses including a school, a motel and two shops. Police will allege he stole money from these locations.
The man will face 16 charges including four counts of aggravated break and enter, four counts of being armed with the intent to commit an indictable offence and two counts of receiving/disposing of stolen property.
The accused apprehended in a local shopping centre and arrested on Thursday, March 20 at about 5pm.
Police will allege that at the time of his arrest he was in possession of items recently stolen from a retail store and a small amount of cannabis.
The accused was released on conditional bail with stringent conditions but breached it just two days later.
He was arrested again on Saturday, March 22 at 3.20am for not complying with the curfew condition of his bail. It requires him not be absent from his residence between 8pm and 6am every night.
Queanbeyan detective inspector Neil Grey said investigations into the spate of break and enters in early March is ongoing.
"I would describe the charging of this male as a positive step in the investigation into these breaking offences in Queanbeyan. The investigation into these offences will continue," he said.
"Police are committed to ensuring that those persons responsible for crime in our area are held to account."
