THE Tigers squared off against the Tuggeranong Bulldogs in what proved a torrid affair at Gordon Oval last Saturday.
While Queanbeyan took scintillating recent form into the contest, the Bulldogs proved worthy opponents with both sides locked in a dour arm wrestle for much of the match.
Josh Ryder and Leo Tuckfield proved willing in the contest as usual while Jordan McGrath, Harrison Doherty and Leo Palombi scouted wide to provide targets.
Liam McAllister and Brad Rauter dominated in the ruck and Jack Foster produced his best game of the season.

QUEANBEYAN will face Belconnen at Aranda in round 12 on the back of a comprehensive defeat of the Gungahlin Jets at Amaroo last weekend.
The Tigers started the match strongly to kick the opening five goals while keeping the Jets scoreless in the first term.
Despite the windy conditions, Queanbeyan continued to press forward in the second term with goals to Angus Hoadley, Lachlan Squire and Matthew McKenzie increasing the Tigers advantage.
Tyler Van Luin and Connor Hogan were prominent in defence as was Oliver Glamcevski who proved a tower of strength at centre half-back.

DESPITE an impressive performance the Tigers were unable to get over the top of top four outfit Ainslie at Reid Oval last Saturday.
After Ainslie pulled away to a 15-point lead at half-time, Queanbeyan battled its way back into the contest, narrowing the deficit to just two points late in the final term.
The home side however, managed to just hold on for a 4.5 (29) to 4.3 (27) victory.
In what was a tight contest, the strong defensive play of Finley Hollyhead, Jack Silver and Jack Hill limited Ainslie’s goal scoring opportunities.
George Cross was dominant for the Tigers in the ruck while Clancy Bain pushed forward to create a number of scoring chances.
But a late goal to Queanbeyan’s Nicholas Brown narrowing the margin to two points was as close as the Tigers would come. Queanbeyan’s goal scorers were Liam Garland, Jordan Smith, Clancy Bain and Nicholas Brown.
This weekend will see Queanbeyan host the Gungahlin Jets.

THE Tigers proved unable to secure the points against an impressive Weston Creek Wildcats outfit last weekend, going down 12.3 (75) to 6.3 (39) at Stirling Oval.
The Wildcats are sitting on top of the ladder in the grade but the Tigers were far from outclassed in the contest.
A couple of strong individual performances from the Weston Creek players ultimately proved the difference as they imposed themselves on the match at crucial moments.
Special thanks goes to under-14s Wilson Morshead and Noah Barrow and also Harry Clout who ventured up from the coast for the contest.
The award winners were Jarred Ranieri and Nathan Bull.
