ANU WFC and Monaro Panthers enter this encounter with contrasting form.

Despite Monaro sitting second and ANU sitting second last, Monaro will enter the match with little confidence and no momentum.

Having kept pace with Belconnen through the first part of the season, Monaro have quickly lost ground on the league leaders.

They have collected one point out of a possible nine in the last three weeks.  This drop in form has also allowed sides such as Canberra FC and Weston-Molonglo to close the gap onMonaro to within three points.

A lack of goals in recent weeks has been a major source of trouble for Monaro. They averaged three goals a game through the first ten rounds, since then they have scored four goals in three matches.

ANU on the other hand will have some momentum after picking up their second win of the season over Woden Valley.

The win takes them clear of last placed Woden. ANU will now set their sights on Tuggeranong United who sit six points above them.

This will be ANU’s best chance to beat Monaro, but expect the Panthers to get back into their winning ways.
