"I'm in shock," she said. "I still am. It's really exciting."
The 21-year-old completed an application and interview with three judges before she was announced the winner on Saturday.
Miss Neville has worked in Queanbeyan for the past three years and is passionate about representing the local community.
"The people are lovely," she said. "It's a close-knit community."
Miss Neville is currently part of the sales team at Elders Real Estate and entered the competition to get to know more locals.
"I wanted to get more involved in the community as I would like to pursue a career in real estate and eventually set-up my own business," she said. "I'd like to meet more people."
Miss Neville will complete two weeks at an etiquette school prior to representing Queanbeyan in the zone final in Bega on February 23.
"My role is to represent the whole community and particularly women's role in rural NSW," she said.
"I really would like to promote Queanbeyan and I guess be a role model for young girls and encourage more girls to enter the Show Girl title."
