The 17-year-old approached a woman in Taylors Hill, in Melbourne's northwest suburbs, at 8.30pm on July 9 while wearing a balaclava, police said.

The 26-year-old woman was returning to her car, a grey station wagon parked on Gourlay Road, when the teenager allegedly approached.
He demanded her keys while brandishing a baseball bat, police said.
The woman was not physically injured.
The teenager drove away in the station wagon and was spotted by police officers a short time later in St Albans.
Victoria Police's K9 Dog Squad was deployed to find the teenager after he allegedly dumped the stolen car on Reaburn Avenue.
Investigators allege the 17-year-old attempted to flee by jumping over a fence before he was arrested.
He was charged with aggravated carjacking and remanded to appear before a children's court.
