A popular silicone baby teether has been recalled due safety concerns.
The Riff Raff Baby product, Riff the Fox Teether, was recalled due to choking and suffocation hazards.
Product Safety Australia (PSA) said the infant teether does not comply with the mandatory toy safety standard for children younger than three-years-old.
The toy could be fatal to a young child "if the ear detaches while in use" creating a choking hazard, PSA said.
The Riff the Fox teether is the only product from the Riff Raff Baby collection that has been recalled.
"The teether is shaped like a fox with an orange body and white and black colouring on the face and ears," PSA said.
Consumer advice
PSA said these teethers should not be used and should be placed out of reach of children.
Consumers are encouraged to contact Riff Raff Baby to arrange a refund and to return the product.
