The mysterious Bigfoot has reportedly been spotted by a group of train travellers.
The tall, furry creature is seen walking, humanlike, across rocky mountainside near Durango, Colorado in a video shared online.
The peculiar figure then sits down and watches on as the train rolls past.
"It's an elusive creature," a man can be heard saying.
"Oh, he's just squatted down."
Shannon Parker shared her surreal experience on Facebook and said she and her partner Stetson were looking for elk in the mountains when they saw something moving.
"Y'all, out of the hundreds of people on the train, three or four of us actually saw, as Stetson said in the video, the ever elusive creature Bigfoot!
"I don't know about y'all but we believe!"
The video has gone viral on social media with mixed reactions.

Author of Bigfoot... It's Complicated and former US politician Denver Riggleman said on X that it seemed "odd a creature with that much fur would want to sunbathe on [an] arid plain".
"After millenniums of evolution the shy and elusive Bigfoot highlights itself against a barren hillside in the middle of the day - next to train tracks - to casually stroll and pop a squat (voice of David Attenborough)," he wrote.
Meanwhile the US Forest Service told TMZ it couldn't speculate on the authenticity of the video.
"We'll be sure to alert the media if and when a Sasquatch is sighted by officials on National Forest System lands."
