The annual national campaign raises awareness of the issues and impacts surrounding missing persons on family and friends following the disappearance of a loved one.
Two Southern Inlands missing persons cases you might be able to provide police with information are Ian Stanton and Laura Haworth.
Laura Haworth, then aged 23, was last seen on January 5, 2008 at a friend's house in Queanbeyan, NSW. After telling her friend she was going to work, Laura left the house in her red Mazda 121.
Laura did not attend work and has not made any contact with family or friends since.
On January 19, 2008 Laura's vehicle was located parked at the Kanangra Court car park, ACT. Police enquiries in the area were unable to locate her.
She is described as 178cm tall with a slim build, brown hair and blue eyes with a fair complexion.
Ian Stanton was reported missing from Bundanoon on May 9, 2003. He was 23 at the time. He would now be 42.
He is described as 185cm of medium build, with brown hair and blue/green eyes. Mr Stanton had a cartoon-style tattoo of a round bomb with lit fuse located between the forefinger and thumb of his left hand measuring 2cm x 2cm.

About 99 per cent of missing persons are located, often with the help of the community.
A missing person is defined as, anyone who is reported missing to police, whose whereabouts are unknown, and there are fears for the safety or concern for the welfare of that person. A long-term missing person is someone who has been missing for more than three months.
