The much-anticipated ballot draw for Eden-Monaro has been unveiled a month out from the federal election.
Historically known as a 'bellweather' seat, meaning the party that wins it often ends up forming government, eyes will no doubt be drawn to booths from Yass down to Bega on May 21.

Of course that precedent isn't in play at the moment with Labor's Mike Kelly winning in 2019 despite the Liberals forming government. He was succeeded by fellow Labor candidate Kristy McBain in the 2020 by-election after resigning due to ill health.

Sustainable Australia Party candidate James Holgate will be top of the list after being drawn first in the ballot draw on Friday.
Maxwell Holmes for the Liberal Democrats is in second, ahead of incumbent MP Kristy McBain of Labor.
Australian Democrats candidate Greg Butler and United Australia's Darren Garnon are in fourth and fifth respectively.
Liberal challenger Jerry Nockles takes up sixth spot ahead of the Green's Vivian Harris while Toni McLennan (Informed Medical Opinions Party), Andrew Thaler (Independent) and Shannon Boyd (One Nation) round out the 10-person ballot.
