Due to recent project wins, we have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Rail Team in Sydney providing project management and consulting services on a variety of infrastructure projects.

In this role, you will be presented with opportunities to advance your project management and general consulting skills, working on projects for Private sector, State and Federal Government clients. You will be key in the successful delivery of projects supported by a team of passionate professionals.

This is an opportunity to further develop your skills managing teams of project professionals, engineers establishing delivery strategies to achieve our clients’ goals. Your experience across the elements of engineering design, the infrastructure lifecycle, Government delivery and consulting will help to facilitate further growth of our services across the region.

This position will provide you with the opportunity to further develop your career and establish yourself as a highly proficient Project Manager.

Minimum Requirements

As a Project Manager, you will be engaged, and excited by project delivery and the successful integration of varied specialist and multi-disciplinary stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Relevant years project management experience, preferably working with clients in either Government, Defence, Rail, major construction and infrastructure projects.

  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time, to schedule and client parameters including a demonstrated understanding of project management frameworks

  • Demonstrated commitment to collaborative, ethical behaviour in a client-facing environment

  • Strong commitment to safety and understanding of WHS best practice and obligations.

  • Demonstrated experience working as part of a multidisciplinary project team on complex multimillion-dollar projects with responsibility for outcomes.

  • Experience in developing proposals, managing contracts and sub-contractor agreements in consulting and contractor environments

  • The ability to develop and maintain project programs, change schedules, scoping documents, risk assessments, management plans, budgets and issues registers

  • Confident communicator in client-facing environments and an ability to engage successfully across broad and complex stakeholder groups

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills aligned to Australian Government Standards.
