Community members turned up in their best suits and frocks to raise money for charity at the Bicentennial Hall event on July 23.
President of Queanbeyan Lions Club, Jamie Walker, said the atmostphere on the night was “fantastic”.
“It was a great night.
“We had about 250 people attend, it really blew us away with the public response.
“We had auctions on the night, raffles, and we raised a significant amount of money.
The successful night comes at a challenging time in the Lions Club’s history.
“We’re struggling for membership, our club is dwindling very quickly,” Mr Walker said.
“We’ve had a lot of sickness and illness in our club and people moving away.”
The whole night was organised by six members, and what a show it was with dancers, singers and performers entertaining throughout the night.
