Over the past year, the centre has helped more than 770 young people in the Queanbeyan community.
Headspace Queanbeyan and Canberra centre manager, Nic Hubbard said it has been a really positive first year.
"It's a really welcoming place, it's friendly, young people enjoy being here," she said.
"We've established ourselves as a creditable service and a really needed service."
The national arm of Headspace celebrated its 10th year of operation this month as well.
Headspace offers mental health and general life issues support for people aged 12 to 25 years.
"Headspace prides itself on being a one stop shop where young people can come and access a variety of support services," Ms Hubbard said.
The service offers early intervention for young people experiencing emerging mental health issues.
"Generally in the community there are other services for people who are more unwell, who have moderate to severe mental health issues.
"So we have filled a gap in terms of support that's available for young people who are early in their journey around needing some health support," she said.
