It took a mere 14 months for the Metamorph Holistic Performance Centre to outgrow its initial training wheels and require a move to an expanded location, and for owner-operator Mitch Pike, the success has been a welcome surprise.

“It’s all happened pretty quick, I didn’t really expect it to grow as quickly as it did,” he said.
“I always had confidence in it having an impact but probably not this big of an impact.
“It took about three weeks for us to fill out the gym in the beginning but we capped out the facility and we were restricted in terms of the number of members we could have, so we’re upgrading to a location that is about two and a half times the size of this.”
After a great deal of soul searching and the realisation that he wanted to turn his own life around, Pike started Metamorph in January 2015 with the intent of inspiring others in their search for holistic health.
“Because I’d gone through such a transformation from a negative myself and had seen that I was going down some bad black holes before completely changing my focus and perspective, I knew I wanted to create something that was more holistic in nature which is why I started to delve into the self help, the mindset, and the study of nutrition,” Pike said.
“It directed me into trying to think of something that could basically change people’s lives.
“I don’t really want to be seen as a personal trainer, I like to think of it as being like when you come in here, you won’t be the same person when you leave.”
Metamorph Holistic Performance has relocated to 2/10 Spongolite Street in Beard and a new membership drive/open night has scheduled for Friday, July 1 between 4pm and 9pm.
