As one of the city's favourite sons, Stuart donned the green-and-gold for both the Wallabies and the Kangaroos, alongside establishing himself as one of the most dominant halfbacks in league history.
As a coach, he has enjoyed success and under his watchful eye a basket-case Raiders squad has lifted and begun to show bucket-loads of talent and promise.
But it is a cause that lies close to Stuart's heart that will haul him front and centre of stage this Sunday, when his Canberra Raiders don their Ricky Stuart Foundation marked jerseys in a bid to raise autism awareness as they take on the Bulldogs at GIO Stadium.
"Huawei has kindly given up its regular spot on the jersey for this game to our Foundation which is a magnificent gesture," Stuart said.
"This will enable us to promote the Foundation and raise awareness about Autism to the crowd at GIO Stadium and also through the television coverage of the game".
The seventh-placed Canberra Raiders will go head to head with the fifth-placed Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at GIO Stadium from 4pm on Sunday, May 29.
