THE weather's heating up and the outdoor pool at Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre reopened for the summer swim season last Saturday.
Already people are flocking to the outdoor oasis, including the Porter sisters, Neesha (6), Tiah (8) and Shani (11) from Tarago.
The Porters regularly make the trip down the highway to have a swim at Queanbeyan, and dropped in on Wednesday to enjoy the recently reopened outdoor area.
Centre supervisor Bryan Pasfield said the summer season was set to be a ripper.
"We've heard it's going to be hot and dry, and after the last few years we hope that's true," Mr Pasfield said.
"On the hot days it's a great place for families to come and relax and enjoy the pool and a bit of shade in the shaded area," he said.
