Dead pigs and pigs heads have been located near Mount Jerrabomberra after council staff were alerted to the grisly findings by members of the public. In both cases, a council spokeswoman said, the dead animals were dumped and not from the area.

"There is no way of knowing where they came from, however we suspect they are being dumped after a hunting trip," the spokeswoman said.
In one case, the dead pigs were found at the Scar, on the Karabar side of Mount Jerrabomberra, however the pigs heads were dumped in an undisclosed location.
