A battle to the death between a python and rough-tailed goanna has been caught on camera.

Pam Forster from the Urandangi pub, in an outback town near the Queensland-Northern Territory border, sent in this amazing photo, which was taken at the height of Wednesday's floods.
Ms Forster stumbled across the beasts just outside town.
"It was taken about 4km out on the north road from Urandangi as the rain slowed in the 185mm we had on Wednesday," she told The North West Star..
"The photo was taken at 9.45am by myself while checking out the flood waters."
Whatever happened may remain a mystery but it isn't the first famous encounter between snake and the goanna.
In the Healesville and Yarra Glen Guardian of 1940, wildlife expert David Fleay described it as one of the oldest bush discussions.
He quoted Banjo Patterson's Johnson Antidote which came from a snake versus goanna contest.
Loafing once beside the river while he thought his heart would break,
There he saw a big goanna fighting with a tiger snake.
