Two Queanbeyan police officers were allegedly assaulted while making an arrest on Wednesday, February 3.

The officers, a man and a woman, were left with minor abrasions, swelling and bruising as a result of the incident.
Monaro Local Area Command acting inspector Ben Bowles said the officers received minor injuries in the attack.
"About 9.40am today the officers attended a Charles Street address in relation to an investigation of a neighbourhood dispute," acting inspector Bowles said.
"Whilst investigating that matter, they have placed a 54-year-old Queanbeyan male under arrest.
"During the arrest the male person has become extremely aggressive with police and commenced wrestling and assaulting them."
Acting inspector Bowles said the two officers were then able to refrain the male, who was taken to the Queanbeyan Police Station.
He was initially refused bail however bail was granted when he appeared in Queanbeyan Local Court on Wednesday afternoon.
He is set to reappear in court on February 22.
