Local Canberra sprinter Sophie Broadhead takes out The Queanbeyan Gift

SHE TOOK two years off from the track in order to recover from a shoulder reconstruction and was then plagued by a myriad of injuries after her initial return. But that just makes Sophie Broadhead's victory last weekend in the Queanbeyan Gift all that much sweeter.
