At least six vehicles and one home were broken into from Friday, August 21 to Sunday, August 22 with electrical items, tools and even a school bag taken during the crimes.
Police believe the incidents are connected linked because of the location and time line of the crimes, Inspector Neil Grey said.
On Saturday overnight, perpetrators broke into a house on Maple Crescent and stole property along with the keys to a blue Subaru.
The Subaru was recovered on Sunday morning at 8.30am in Queanbeyan. It has since been seized by police for forensic examination.
On the same night, a 40-year-old Robinia Place resident reported an attempted break-in into his Nissan Patrol at about 10.40pm.
At the same location and time, thieves forced entry into a Hyundai and took a small amount of change from the vehicle.
While nearby on Franklin Circuit, a school bag was stolen from a Nissan Patrol and electrical items were taken from a Holden Captiva station wagon.
At Rosewood Glen, a handbag and cash was stolen from a Volkswagon and minor electrical equipment from a Ford Fairlane sedan parked in the same area. Tools were reported stolen from the rear of a Ford Ranger parked on Brudenell Drive.
Inspector Grey said it was a timely reminder for residents to insure their vehicle is locked overnight and to remove valuable items from sight.
