Bakers Delight Jerrabomberra sold a total of 6,500 finger buns and raised a total of $9,720 during the campaign's three weeks.
The Jerrabomberra team's hard work paid off as they were named the number one fundraisers for NSW South beating out close rivals at Bakers Delight Riverside Plaza. The Queanbeyan store raised $6,485 this year.
Manager Michael Blucher looks after both stores and said it was a phenomenal effort from all staff.
"I'm rapt with the community support. They've helped out every year but I think this is our most successful yet," he said.
"We've already set out plans for next year, we're really excited about it. We've been thinking about how we're going to do it bigger and better and what worked this year and how to improve."
Bakers Delight Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan have had a friendly rivalry over the last few years jostling for the first place.
In 2013, Jerrabomberra managed to raise the most amount of money nationwide while Riverside Plaza took the title for most money raised in NSW South last year.
Mr Blucher said a little friendly competition never hurt with staff not just selling fingers buns from behind the counters but approaching local schools and sporting clubs.
They were supported by Jerrabomberra Public School, Queanbeyan Public School, Karabar High School, the Tigers, Monaro Panthers and Queanbeyan Whites.
"[Jerrabomberra] just had that little more drive. Queanbeyan definitely did put in a good effort but in Jerrabomberra we had a lot more help with the community," he said.
"I have to thank Michelle Jesshope who was down at the sports ground every week getting the kids really pumped behind [the Pink Bun campaign]. We couldn't have done it without her."
Bakers Delight Jerrabomberra and Queanbeyan were two of more than 600 bakeries around the country to take part in the Pink Bun Campaign.
A total of $1.726 million was raised from the sale of the finger bun and will go to the Breast Cancer Network Australia. The money will help BCNA support the 42 women diagnosed every day with breast cancer.
