QNA were approached by Tuggeranong Netball Association president, Louise Bilston, who also works for Sids and kids ACT who asked the association to help raise money for the annual initiative and QNA president Mardi Croke said they were "more than happy to help out".
"It's such a great cause and QNA always love to help out our neighbours," she said.
SIDS and Kids ACT CEO, Lisa Ridgley said businesses around Queanbeyan and Canberra raised money over the week, which have significantly helped the organisation.
"There is so much activity happening around Canberra and the surrounding regions, that we don't have exact figures yet. We can say however, that our presence at the Queanbeyan netball significantly contributed to us reaching our overall goal of $70,000 for Red Nose Day 2015," she said.
"This sum is equivalent to hiring two part-time bereavement counsellors. Our organisation wouldn't be what it is without our dedicated and wonderful volunteers, who will be out in force for Red Nose Day all this week."
