Tiger's Brett Fruend and Ben Fulford represented the men's AFL Canberra team who played AFL Sydney at Blacktown on Saturday.
AFL Canberra match by 12 points, 15.14 (104) to 13.14 (92) and lost the Carter-Jesaulenko Shield to AFL Sydney.
Tiger's vice-captain Brett Fruend said there were a lot of quality, NEAFL-level players and pulling on the ACT blue and gold is always a great experience.
"Getting selected in sides like that you want to represent your club," he said.
"It's always different to competition footy, playing with guys that you normally play against, but it's always good to don the ACT jumper and represent AFL footy."
Kate Reid, Ella Ross, Carly Res, Jill Shae, Megan Godfrey, Kahli Jensen and Hannah Dunn were apart of the AFL Canberra side that kept the shield in ACT hands with a 10.3 (63) to 3.7 (25) thumping of AFL Sydney.
Lani Watson and Cassie Reid were selected for the inaugural AFL NSW/ACT who tackled the Victorian representative side in Richmond on Sunday.
The NSW/ACT side was schooled by a skillful Victorian outfit, going down 8.10 (58) to 2.2 (14), but Watson said she always enjoys the opportunity to represent her state.
"It was an amazing experience to play along with the NSW girls- I personally haven't been to Melbourne, so to play footy, the sport I love, and go there with a great bunch was perfect," she said.
Watson said she was also lucky enough to play AFL 9s during halftime of the Geelong/Essendon clash at Etihad Stadium.
