NETBALL: Some of the greatest pains an athlete can go through are injury, losses and watching a grand final you wish you were playing in, but Queanbeyan Netball Association coach Adele Caesar said her girls will reflect on the season and use it to seek redemption next season.

The QNA girls will watch Tuggeranong Netball Association and Arawang Netball Association battle it out for the State League premiership on Sunday and Caesar said as much as the squad would love to be participating in the biggest game of the season they will take a lot from watching.
"The girls are motivated for next season. They're capable of putting together good netball, we just did it in quarters," she said.
"When we put it together, like when we played Belconnen we played really well.
"Consistency will be something we look to work on moving forward."
The QNA only managed a single win against Belconnen Netball Association in their injury-laden season, but Caesar said things were starting to come together at the tail end of the year.
"Our season provided the opportunity for younger players to play in division one and we'll build upon that," she said.
"We're disappointed with our finish, [the girls] have got it and if they give a consistent effort then we can win.
"But the last few games the scoreboard didn't reflect how well we played.
"We'll be reviewing our season, how we go through pre and during the season, looking at what we want done differently and taking what works forward."
Caesar said she enjoyed her debut season coaching the QNA and is excited for the coming season.
"The girls have improved a lot since the start of the season and they just have a great attitude- they have great pride of where they're from and who they play for and they all play for each other," she said.
"Next season the younger girls will be better prepared and know what to expect, we had the opportunity to develop a relationship between coach and players. I found out what they can bring to the court and they figured out my coaching style.
"They're all very welcoming and interested in expanding their skills and strategies and very open-minded, I really enjoyed working with them.
"They're really hungry and motivated for next season."
