The official launch of the 2015 season was well attended with players marching from all clubs - Bungendore, Jerra Joeys, Royals, Sunrise and Waratah.
QNA life member Bev Woodward was on hand to cheer on the players as they proudly represented their clubs.
This year saw the introduction of an interclub challenge with players competing in relays and shootouts.
All events were hotly contested and produced close results and the large crowd certainly enjoyed the spectacle.
The day was also a key fundraising event. Each club ran various stalls which catered to all tastes, particularly for those with a sweet tooth.
The funds raised go to help provide equipment for the players and development activities for the volunteer coaches and umpires.
"The day was a fantastic start to a big season for QNA," President Mardi Croke said.
"Our numbers are up from last season, we have over 550 members and 44 teams in our junior and senior comps, I am really looking forward to seeing our local players hitting the courts each Saturday."
