Fishing personality Rob Paxevanos hosted talks throughout the day to raise awareness on how to safely and effectively use the natural resources in the region and launched his new DVD, Total Native, which features exclusive footage of the great fishing on Googong Dam.
Local fishing and outdoors companies displayed their latest products and answered outdoor sporting questions unique to Googong Dam.
The Australian Maritime Safety Authority were on hand to connect with locals on up-to-date water safety products and procedures and NSW's Old4New van was there to allow people to swap their old out-dated personal flotation devices for new ones.
MasterChef's Alvin Quah was also at the fair cooking up his favourite seafood recipes and giving out culinary advice.
