A 34-YEAR-OLD Queanbeyan man was found with a number of prohibited items including drugs, a fake gun, bullets and knives over the weekend.

The man was arrested on firearms, drug and stealing charges after police discovered the items during a search of his car on Sunday, May 10.
Police stopped the man on Canberra Avenue at about 3.30am concerned by his manner of driving.
A search of the vehicle unveiled a black plastic revolver-style gun, .22 calibre ammunition round, one steyr, ammunition magazine, a number of knives and a suitcase containing $680 worth of stolen clothing.
The man was searched and found to be in possession of a type of methamphetamine.
He appeared at Queanbeyan Local Court later that day and was granted bail. He will reappear before the court on June 1.
