Paxevanos will be hosting talks throughout the day to raise awareness on how to safely and effectively use the natural resources in the region and talking about the DVD, which features exclusive footage of the great fishing on Googong Dam.
MasterChef's Alvin Quah will be cooking up his favourite seafood recipes, enabling participants to ask for culinary advice.
Local fishing and outdoors companies will be on hand to display their latest products and answer outdoor sporting questions unique to Googong Dam. And the Australian Maritime Safety Authority will be onsite to connect with locals on up-to-date water safety products and procedures. NSW's Old4New van will also be there for people to swap their old out-dated personal flotation devices for new ones.
The fair has become the "single biggest fishing event in the region", Paxevanos said and one close to his heart.
"The fair started as an idea and it's grown into something fantastic- it's a great day forecast for Sunday too," he said.
"There will be talks from fishing experts, suppliers and rangers and a lot of family stuff too.
"Whether you're just starting out or you're an experienced angler there's something for everyone- it's going to be a fantastic day."
Paxevanos describes Googong as a "step back in time" because of how pristine the water is.
"It's a well managed waterway- it shows what the Murray-Darling Basin used to look like and a reminder that it's where it should be headed," he said.
"Fantastic fishing is returning to the area thanks to the stocking and the efforts of farmers around the area."
Googong Dam is home to golden perch and the giant Murray cod and Paxevanos has revealed the DVD features a giant Murray cod being caught, the same fish that a friend of his had caught previously, showing catch and release in the area at work
It also shows a school of Golden Perch spawning, a giant Murray cod killing and playing with a golden perch and more.
