A man has been charged with murder following the discovery of a body in the state’s south this morning (Thursday 6 September, 2012).
Police will allege about 4.45am, two men were involved in an altercation at a property near Braidwood.
Officers from Monaro Local Area Command attended and located the body of a 51-year-old man.
Police later arrested a 41-year-old man in the Braidwood area. He has this evening been charged with murder.
The man was refused bail to appear in Queanbeyan Local Court tomorrow (Friday 7 September 2012).
