Police are appealing for information from members of the public following two break and enters at a Queanbeyan home over the past two months.

On Wednesday, April 15, unknown persons gained entry to a home on High Street and ransacked the premises.
A number of items were taken during the break-in and the property was also damaged.
In a separate incident on Saturday, May 5, the same home was broken into by unknown persons.
Furnishings were again damaged inside the home and property was stolen.
No residents were home during either incident.
Acting Inspector Paul Batista from Monaro Local Area Command, said police are continuing to pursue a number of lines of inquiry; but are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the area to come forward.
“These incidents appear to be linked and we are currently investigating numerous leads including physical evidence,” A/Insp Batista said.
“Police patrols will also be stepped up in the area while inquiries continue.”
