AFL: Prior to preseason Queanbeyan Tigers player/coach Kade Klemke said season 2015 would be a bit of a mystery, but if preseason success is anything to go by the yellow and black are looking to contest for some silverware.

The Tigers had a run against ANU and Harman with outstanding results, but it was not until the two-day preseason tournament against Tuggeranong, Eastlake, Ainslie and Belconnen that Klemke said he got a better idea of how his squad was travelling.
"We beat Tuggeranong by about 30 points and Eastlake by about 100, we beat Ainslie in the semi-final by just over a goal and only lost by five points to Belconnen in the final," he said.
"I'm very happy with the way we went- everything we've been working towards in pre-season is starting to work- the boys have been listening.
"To see the boys win against Tuggeranong in the first game was really promising and we only just lost to Belconnen.
"We had a few players out and so did they, so I'm not going to take a lot out of practice matches, but we played well."
Klemke said the Tigers strength is in their forward line, much like a lot of the other teams, but said the backline needs improvement.
"We've got a young backline, so they're just learning and haven't had a lot of game time," he said.
"Saying that the young guys are all promising.
"(Young defender) Alec McCormick has had a great preseason and he's played a few NEAFL games, we missed him against Belconnen."
The Tigers take on Ainslie at Queanbeyan's Allinsure Park this Saturday at 2:15 and despite their preseason victory Klemke said he does not want to go in overconfident.
"I was actually disappointed with how we played against (Ainslie) preseason, but this weekend depends a lot on their NEAFL side," he said.
"They have a lot of good players so we still have to be on our game.
"We lost that community feeling when we played in the NEAFL, so it's good to get back into community footy.
"Queanbeyan has the best supporters and I encourage people to come down and support us and hopefully we can get the win."
